Yoga with Jackie
Jackie Tempera is a yoga teacher, storyteller, and breathwork practitioner living in New Jersey, on a mission to help you come back home to your body.
Jackie took her first yoga class as a teenager and felt a sense of calm she had never accessed before. The anxious voices in her head quieted, and she felt connected to her body for the first time. She continued to use this practice as a way to come back home following a sexual assault in her early 20s that left her undone. Jackie used yoga and breathing to find safety within herself, which inspired her to become a yoga teacher and share this knowledge with others.
Jackie now teaches yoga to anyone ready to find freedom in their movement, find the magic within, and have a few giggles along their healing journey. Expect a class filled with playful movement, a playlist that will make you want to dance, and yogic teaching to leave you grounded. Jackie is CYT-200 and holds certifications in Barre and Breathwork.
When she isn’t practicing yoga, Jackie writes about sexual health, body inclusivity, reality TV stars, and astrology for Women's Health Magazine. She also owns her own business, where she helps founders put words to their special sauce with creative copywriting.

Writing to Heal
In this 90-minute event, we will learn to write (or maybe re-write) a story from our lives. Storytelling is a form of spiritual healing. When we share our stories, we release stored emotions, change perspectives, and help inspire hope in others. In this event, we’ll talk about WHY we write and the fascinating neuroscience behind the power of our stories. Then, we’ll take pen to paper with prompts from Jackie.
At the end of class, you are encouraged (though not required) to share some of what you have written!
Find Your Calm
Learn tools to find your calm by toning your vagus nerves, the largest in your body. With a combination of movement, breathwork, meditation, and education, you will leave this all-levels, 2-hour workshop with a tool kit for the next time anxiety stands your way.
